A lot happens in 23 years, especially when you’re talking about the casino industry. Built in 1984, Trump Plaza Hotel & Casino was the epitome of luxury when it debuted in Atlantic City. With the pressure from Las Vegas’ building boom and its focus on opulence in full force, many East Coast casinos have felt the need to refurbish and refreshen.
Triton Chandelier, headquartered in California, was called upon to create a variety of elegant fixtures for the Trump Plaza renovation. Crystal, Italian glass, and silver and goldleaf were among the materials selected for maximum visual impact. Shown here is the “crystal river” of light that extends throughout the main casino area, culminating in a flourish with a dramatic pendant.
