On The Cover

Working with up-and-coming technology is one of the most thrilling aspects of hospitality design, according to the team at Hnedak Bobo Group, an architectural firm based in Memphis. “We were excited to work on a project that allowed us to incorporate the latest design elements in casino architecture and be creative with [them],” says Danny Valle, AIA, project manager.
For lighting expertise, the Hnedak Bobo crew turned to Marty Peck of Creative Lighting & Engineering in Wisconsin. Peck used LED technology to individually convey the movement of river and wind throughout the Riverwind Casino, both indoors and outside. For more details, see page 12.
