On The Cover

For the new Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, the proprietors were seeking an aesthetic that would be fresh, modern, and would connote luxuriousness. The lobby is depicted here.
The lighting design was accomplished by the California-based office of CD+M Lighting Design Group. The design team capitalized on the grand proportions of 45'-high ceilings in the main casino area by installing illuminated columns, customized lighting fixtures, and overhead accent lights.
